MORNING LIGHT

 A few months ago, when I started planning for this landscape series it was not going as I planned. It was summer break, my kids were running around the house and the toys and messes left behind. Needless to say, finding the time to paint was not happening. My remedy to the hustle and bustle of motherhood was to wake up early before sunrise and maximize the peace of that morning wake up. Watching the sunrise while painting was unlike anything I've ever felt before. It's a lightness, a hope and a reminder to breath. This series is an invitation to that little bit of peace and quiet we all need sometimes.
